Together We Hunt

Enter the Valley of Thunder, a lush and ever-changing land filled with blood and magic. Your tribe is one of many that dwells within the valley, struggling to protect your dens and huts from hungry beasts, massive thunder lizards, fickle spirits, and monsters made from the land itself. To survive, you and your companions must embark on Hunts — quests to gather hunting trophies that bring glory to your tribe, enough supplies to live another day, and even strange relics filled with powerful magic. Take up your spear, strap on your furs, and burn an offering to the spirits for luck — TOGETHER WE HUNT.

TOGETHER WE HUNT is a blood-and-acid-soaked old-school-inspired RPG set in a Stone Age fantasy world. The setting of TOGETHER WE HUNT draws influence from Far Cry: Primal and Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal. The game uses the Together We Go system and an old-school RPG design ethos. This means the game cares more about rulings over rules, and player skill over abilities — a clever use of a tool is usually better than rolling the dice.  Although the world is full of bloody and vicious Paleolithic fantasy action, it does not include or encourage racist tropes like "savagery," bringing "civilization" to other tribes, or any form of evolutionary superiority. Both the author and the game actively oppose all forms of racism and hate speech that are unfortunately common within the "old school revival" at large.

TOGETHER WE HUNT includes:

• 4 roles you mix-and-match to represent your skills and training: the silent Stalker, tool-wielding Carver, magical Spirit Talker, and furious Bloodrager.
• A bestiary with all manner of threats, from thunder lizards to spirits.
• Introduction of a tag system to items in the Together We Go framework, to help guide the fiction of play.
• ... all in a game that fits on a double-sided sheet of A4 paper.
